KEARNEY — 2009 United Way campaign co-chairs Tim Shada and Bruce Blankenship took the lead in tips Tuesday evening in United Way’s Dining Out events.

With help from volunteers and Little Mexico staff, Shada and Blankenship earned $1,341.42 to donate to the 2010 Live United campaign. The duo surpassed 2010 campaign co-chairs Ken Anderson and Andrea McClintic. They earned $1,240.82.

The 2010 Live United campaign is currently at $442,000 of its $534,000 goal.

On Tuesday, 2008 campaign co-chairs Brad Kernick and Gary Straatman will join the staff at Old Chicago to try to surpass Shada and Blankenship.
